          陶雪华先生注重东方传统文化涵养,着力提高综合艺术素质,潜心书学理论研究,以自己独特的学书和创作经验,写了数篇具有独到见解的书学论著。如书学论文《书法静中观》被评为浙江省第十四届书学研讨会优秀论文,发表于《书法研究》(2004年第三期);书学论文《创作心态说》《唯一法则论》等发表于《书法研究》(1992年第三期、1994年第五期)《书法新探》等书刊;曾入选中国书法家协会主办的第七届全国书法篆刻展一类论文,并参加中国书法家协会“当代书法创作理论研讨会”,入选出席北京大学主办的第九届中华文化论坛,论文编入《第九届中华文化论坛论文集》。另外,诗词、楹联书法作品见刊于《中华诗词》《诗词中国》《中国楹联报》《中华楹联报》《楹联博览》《中国书画报》《荣宝斋》《中国艺术收藏》《中国美术报》等报刊。

          陶雪华先生除了数次参加《中国名家书画邀请展》《中国大型书画艺术交流展》《国际榜书艺术大展》等大型联展外,还在北京举办个展二次,在南京等地举办个展四次。2019年9月在中国民族文化宫成功举办《雪华墨迹--国庆献礼展》,刘洪彪先生题写展标;2023年4月又在北京荣宝斋举办了“漫漫书中路且行且求索--陶雪华书法艺术展”,沈鹏先生题写展标,众多艺坛巨擘莅临指导。2023年12月《中华英才》第二十四期特别报道以《倾情挥毫缅怀伟人》为题用四版篇幅刊登了陶雪华作品和沈鹏、苏士澍等巨擘的评鉴。2025年7月新华网刊发了罗杨先生评鉴先生的文章。前后获中国当代艺坛功勋人物、中国十大杰出书画家、2011影响中国十大艺术新闻人物、2017中国十大书画年度人物、2018当代20位杰出新闻艺术家形象大使等殊荣。

          Mr.Tao Xuehua, a distinguished contemporary calligraphy artist, is known by the pseudonyms Ran Tian Dao Ren, Shiquan Laoren, Wuling Zhenren, and Houlongshanren. He is currently a member of the China Calligraphers Association, the Chinese Poetry Society, and the China Couplets Society, as well as a member of its Calligraphy Art Committee. He is also a member of the China Calligraphy and Painting Collectors Association, a National First-Class Artist, and has been listed as a first-class art committee member by the National Personnel Department Talent Research Association with the title of Meritorious Artist. The Ministry of Culture awarded him the "Best Creation Award" and included him in the "Top Ten Masters of Chinese Calligraphy". The World Cultural and Artistic Summit Forum honored him as the "Chinese Cultural and Art Lifetime Achievement Artist". Mr.Tao Xuehua’s life has been marked by twists and turns, yet his artistic practice has flourished through these experiences. Combined with his kind and sincere heart, resolute and optimistic character, and keen and unique insight, he has forged an artistic temperament that combines grandeur with elegance, refinement with innovation. His works demonstrate profound traditional mastery and distinctive artistic characteristics. His calligraphic compositions flow like clouds and water, with majestic and bold structures, natural and spontaneous forms, vigorous brushwork, and vibrant ink tones. The style is ancient yet elegant, fresh and refined, lofty in vision, and ethereal in spirit. His works have won gold medals at numerous national and international calligraphy exhibitions and competitions, including the China Top Calligraphy Masters Competition. Mr.Tao Xuehua emphasizes the cultivation of Eastern traditional culture, strives to enhance his comprehensive artistic literacy, and dedicates himself to theoretical research in calligraphy. Drawing on his unique learning and creative experiences, he has authored several insightful treatises on calligraphy theory. His academic paper "Observing Calligraphy in Stillness" was rated as an outstanding paper at the 14th Calligraphy Symposium in Zhejiang Province and published in *Calligraphy Research* (Issue 3, 2004). His papers such as "On the Creative Mindset" and "On the Only Rule" were published in *Calligraphy Research* (Issues 3, 1992; 5, 1994) and journals like *New Explorations in Calligraphy*. His work was selected for the first-class category of papers at the 7th National Calligraphy and Seal Engraving Exhibition organized by the China Calligraphers Association, and he participated in the "Contemporary Calligraphy Creation Theory Symposium" hosted by the China Calligraphers Association. His paper was selected for attendance at the 9th Chinese Culture Forum hosted by Peking University and included in the *Proceedings of the 9th Chinese Culture Forum*. Additionally, his poetry, couplet calligraphy works appeared in publications such as *Chinese Poetry*, *Poetry China*, *Chinese Couplet News*, *Couplet Expo*, *Chinese Calligraphy & Painting News*, *Rong Bao Zhai*, *China Art Collection*, and *China Fine Arts News*. Mr.Tao Xuehua has participated in several major joint exhibitions including the "China Masters ’Calligraphy & Painting Invitational Exhibition", "China Large-Scale Calligraphy & Painting Exchange Exhibition", and "International Signboard Art Grand Exhibition". He has held two solo exhibitions in Beijing and four solo exhibitions in Nanjing and other cities. In September 2019, he successfully held the "Xuehua’s Ink Traces-National Day Tribute Exhibition" at the China Nationalities Cultural Palace, with Mr.Liu Hongbiao inscribing the exhibition banner. In April 2023, he hosted the "A Long Journey Through Books: Tao Xuehua’s Calligraphy Art Exhibition" at Rong Bao Zhai in Beijing, featuring Mr.Shen Peng as the exhibition banner designer and guidance from numerous prominent art masters. In December 2023, the 24th special report of China Talent magazine, titled "Devoting Brushwork to Remember the Great Man," featured Tao Xuehua’s works and critiques by masters such as Shen Peng and Su Shishu across four pages. In July 2025, Xinhua News Agency published an article by Mr.Luo Yang evaluating Mr.Tao. He has been honored with titles including China’s Contemporary Art Circle Meritorious Figure, China’s Top Ten Outstanding Calligraphers and Painters, 2011 Influential Art News Figure in China, 2017 China’s Top Ten Annual Calligraphy and Painting Figures, and 2018 Ambassador of Contemporary 20 Outstanding News Artists.
